True Abundance

If every good and perfect gift comes from God the Father of Lights, then can we say that even the smallest things like blooms on my peach tree promising an abundance crop, spending the evening with my two grandsons giving me abundant hugs and kisses,  having a cup of coffee with my husband hearing him tell me how much he loves me, hearing from God how many thoughts that He has of me? 

Seeing true abundance in live is an Art.  We have to stop and take time.  When I began to slow down, I found that I had more energy to enjoy the small opportunities that crossed my path.  I became no longer blinded by my fear to push to bigger and better things.  I became more content and thankful for the current blessings that I might otherwise have overlooked. 

I must say that it is hard for me to slow down and to say no to what appeals to my "want to have and do it now"  But I am a work in progress.

My journey to be content when I have little and to be content when I have plenty.
